"My experience with this state farm location has been the best experience I’ve had with any insurance provider, not only did i get the best price i was looking for, that wasn’t some outrageous $400+ payments from other providers on a multi car plan. I had also had a great experience with one of the workers that helped me get that plan. He was a knowledgeable guy that helped me answer any questions I had and was easy to understand. So if you are in the north Georgia area and are looking to get insurance through state farm, call the Athens location and ask for Jackson, that is the man to talk too, to find your plan!"

"I am appalled at the lack of engagement after our daughter was hit by a driver on vacation in Florida. Dana Kerr’s State Farm refused to even call back on the threat that if they helped or did anything to get a decent amount to replace their car he would open a claim and it would go on their record and raise their rates. Would not even return a call to speak to her or her husband.
No help or advice in working with the manipulation of the other insurance company.
No, hope you are ok, how can I help, let me help you work with them.
Do not do business with Dana Kerr!! Find a caring reputable company and agent to work with for your insurance needs."

"On July 3rd I purchased a policy with State Farm for 4 vehicles. I was told that my total monthly premium was going to be around $302. The next month I called to add another vehicle to my policy. Going forward I’m thinking my policy premium will be around $370. I was charged twice for the month of August premium. Also that same month I got a letter asking me to send over a copy of my drivers license and proof of the defensive driving course I took to keep receiving the discount. On August 8th and 9th I sent a pdf copy of the certificate, and driver license to Myles, along with pictures of my car to send to underwriting for the 5th auto I added for an antique policy. That I emailed the same day. It's weird that Myles only got an email of the pictures of my cars and my driver's license but not the certificate for the defensive driving course. Which was all in the same email thread. On August 16th I called to inquire about the two charges for August. I spoke with Bella and she explained to me why I got charged twice and processed the refund for the second charge. I asked her while I had her on the phone. Did they receive the pictures of the car, drivers license and defensive driving course? She said the driver license had been uploaded to the file but not the defensive driving or the pictures of the cars. I forwarded Bella the same email that I forwarded to Myles. She said that she received them and will upload everything to the file. Within an hour or so I got an email from Megan Little stating the Defensive Driver course and my discounts had been removed from the policies because I didn't complete the course. I told her that I emailed that certificate of completion already. I sent her a copy of the certificate as well and she said will email it to the underwriting department. It still didn’t make it. When I got my September bill the discount had not been adjusted to the discount price. My September bill went from $345 to $460. I called again to ask why my bill went up. Because the policy had to be reinstated, Why was my policy terminated? I have been making payments on the premium. The defensive driving discount had been removed. I don’t understand why because I’ve sent the email over three times. To Myles, Bella and Megan. Then in October my bill was $387. My mother called sometime in October to have the drive safe removed from the policy. My mother was told that the premium would only go up $45 by removing that feature. Nope wrong, When I got my November bill it was $767.00. The premium on the Hyundai went from $93.43 to $110.00, Tahoe went from $406 to $477, BMW went from $461, Mercedes $453.00 to $535.00. That's a $320 dollar increase for the premium. Not $45.00.
Also a past due balance for 3 months for theBonneville which they filed to add on the policy for three months. I asked for an antique policy because the car is an older model car that had been restored. I was told as of November 2024 they couldn’t write an antique policy. So State Farm decided to write one for me with the deductibles they wanted me to have instead of picking up the phone to give me a call to ask me what I would like to do about that car or sending me a letter in mail. Which they failed to do on both ends. So they just back billed me for the policy that I didn’t ask for or agree to. This company has horribly failed me and took advantage of me as a customer.
Update the company reached out and made everything right.
Update to the update. State Farm is a rip off. Two months after I wrote this my policy started increasing again. I couldn’t get a straight answer on why. My last bill was $700 for just 6 vehicles only people on the policy are me and my son. We have great driving records. I eventually switched to Progressive insurance. What I was paying State Farm for in a month $700. My 6 month premium total was the same with Progressive. If your with State Farm I wouldn’t walk away I run a way quick and fast."
